Supply Chain Sustainability
We work with our suppliers to protect our environment and conserve natural resources because we believe sustainability is a shared responsibility. Suppliers play a pivotal role in multiple goals Raytheon has set for it's sustainability, including:

GHGs From Business Travel and Suppliers – Reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) by 5% from 2011 levels from business travel, indirect and logistics suppliers.

Eco-Friendly Procurement – Achieve a 20% improvement in eco-friendly procurement activity from 2011 levels, which includes purchases of eco-friendly products, increasing automated transactions, and reducing small dollar orders.

Supplier Sustainability – Incorporate sustainability clauses in supplier source selection processes, Request for Proposals (RFPs), supplier scorecards, and supplier business reviews.

Materials of Concern in Designs – Establish a Raytheon Materials of Concern List (e.g., hexavalent chromium and cadmium) and target the materials for elimination in new product designs and reduction in existing designs.

Products Material Content – Establish a system to collect and identify the material content of Raytheon products, including the material content of supplier components
We're responsive to environmental regulations in the many regions we serve, including the European Union (EU) Directive on Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).
