Girl Scouts Cyber Challenge Brought to You by Raytheon
Girl Scouts today. Cyber Leaders Tomorrow.
The Girl Scouts Cyber Challenge is Girl Scouts of the USA’s first-ever national STEM challenge event. By solving a hypothetical ransomware attack on a moon base, 2,500 girls across 10 U.S. pilot cities will cultivate key cybersecurity skills with support from Raytheon volunteers and mentors. After the pilot takes place in October 2019, Girl Scouts of the USA plans to make it available to all 111 of their councils.

Not in a Cyber Challenge pilot city? Not a Girl Scout? You can still take part in the Cyber Challenge’s virtual cryptogram challenge starting Thursday, October 3. Throughout the month, Girl Scouts of the USA will post a series of cryptogram puzzles on their official Instagram page for anyone to solve. Share your answer in the comments for a chance to win a prize! Puzzles will be added to the gallery below on October 3, 8, 10 and 15—download each one to practice your cyber sleuthing skills! Note: visit Girl Scouts of the USA on Instagram to enter and for cryptogram challenge terms and conditions. Girls under 18 eligible for prizes.
