GTACS - Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems and Services

The world-wide demand for C3T has accelerated and the GTACS contract has been established to implement a centralized one-stop contracting vehicle offering integrated state-of-the-art solutions to the C3T community. The intent of the GTACS program is to provide multiple prime contracts with multiple subcontractors, capable of providing a wide range of state of the art C3 solutions meet the needs of a broad range of tactical and logistics infrastructure users that are responsible for the design, development, acquisition, production, deployment, operation, maintenance and associated services for C3T systems.

This vehicle provides support to Program Executive Office Command Control and Communications Tactical (PEO C3T), Department of Defense (DoD) and other U.S. Federal Government agencies in the areas of Tactical Command, Control and Communications (C3) system hardware, software, engineering, logistics, development, test and system related support. Tactical C3 systems, for the purpose of this acquisition program, also includes computers, shelters, vehicles/ platforms, network hardware and the software necessary to accomplish the tactical mission. Task areas encompass Development, Production and Deployment and Sustainment through Disposal. To the maximum extent practicable, contractors shall use commercial products, processes and practices to reduce development, production, and operational support costs. This vehicle emphasizes products supply in the C3T arena and any service must be incidental to and supportive of the product.
