Raytheon in Poland
Innovating from Within
Raytheon is committed to growing its partnership with Poland and supporting the Polish community. Together, we can create reliable, innovative solutions to meet Poland's national security needs, build upon a strong Polish industrial base, inspire the country’s brightest young minds, and support current and former members of the Polish armed forces.
Here’s how we’re working to achieve these initiatives:
Raytheon understands the strategic importance of global collaboration with industry, universities and the broader community. Raytheon has contributed a total of $100,000 to two of Poland’s premier technical universities, Military University of Technology and Warsaw University of Technology, to advance studies of science, technology, engineering and math.
TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION
With assistance from Raytheon, a new rocket designed by Warsaw University of Technology students is scheduled for its first flight test later this year. We are proud of our contribution to the development of Poland’s talented youth, and we are dedicated to supporting them in becoming the next generation of technologists.
Raytheon sponsored the Association of Families of Fallen Soldiers "Remembrance and Future” therapeutic camp for families of soldiers killed in missions abroad. The goal of the camp was to aid the families by offering psychological care services through therapeutic workshops, a recreational stay and an integrative, supportive environment.
Raytheon will partner with PGZ, the Polish defense consortium, to co-produce and co-develop Poland’s Patriot™ air and missile defense system. This partnership will create jobs in both countries, and help develop Poland’s defense sector.
