North Warning System
Inuit Training Development Plan
Our Inuit Training Development Plan actively recruits, provides development and training opportunities to registered Inuit beneficiaries for employment on the North Warning System.
The North Warning System is a joint United States and Canadian radar system that includes 47 radar sites spanning the Arctic from Labrador to the Alaska border. The system has the capability to detect airborne threats across North America's polar region, providing command and control capability to the Canadian Air Defence Sector of the North American Aerospace Defence Command.
Raytheon Canada Limited (RCL) is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the North Warning System. Employee development is one of the core principles of the company’s corporate culture.
