Innovation at the Dubai Airshow

Dubai, one of the world’s most modern cities, is built for business.

Raytheon has been a trusted partner in the United Arab Emirates for decades, providing innovative aerospace and defense technologies to the country and its regional allies.

The company will be on hand at the Dubai Airshow, renewing customer and industry relations and showcasing its advanced air and missile defense, counter-drone and cybersecurity systems.

“With today’s evolving threats, missions evolve as well," said Raytheon International CEO John Harris. “So these are important discussions to have, that can help us better address our customers’ most pressing requirements."

Interactive displays at Raytheon’s stand (#1155) will feature such technologies as the latest early warning radars, which provide timely situational awareness for air and missile defense, and even see into space.

Precision weapons such as the AIM-9X Sidewinder® missile, JSOW® weapon system and HARM® missile will be on display. All can be used to modernize 4th-generation fighter jets and help ensure air dominance for allied forces. Special mission surveillance aircraft tech and Raytheon’s Joint Precision Approach Landing System, or JPALS, will also be in the exhibit.

Raytheon experts will be on hand to present advancements in critical infrastructure protection, and civil and commercial space.

Raytheon Emirates

The company’s newest landed entity, Raytheon Emirates, is approaching its third year of operation. It is fully engaged in growing the business and its Emirati and multinational workforce.

“While Raytheon Emirates is a local arm of a global company, we are also an Emirati business and part of the community,” said Alan Davis, chief executive of Raytheon Emirates. “Our presence at the airshow reflects the company’s evolving journey with the UAE and bright future ahead, as we continue to work together.”
