Raytheon Company has extended its longstanding partnership with the Museum of Science through a $1 million sponsorship to the Professional Development portion of Engineering is Elementary® (EiE), a curriculum formed through the National Center for Technological Literacy®. The NCTL is a Museum of Science initiative that helps educate children and adults in various educational settings.

Raytheon’s $1 million investment will help further the EiE curriculum program throughout the United States during the next five years. EiE is a research-based, standards-driven and classroom-tested curriculum that integrates engineering and technology concepts and skills with elementary science topics to guide and prepare students for continued STEM learning and potential careers paths. To date, EiE has reached more than 1.8 million students and more than 26,000 teachers across the country.
