Raytheon invites its Twitter followers to an exclusive, private tour of the new MathAlive! exhibit at the Smithsonian’s International Gallery, inside the Ripley Center, at 2 p.m. EST on Friday, March 9, 2012. The location is 1100 Jefferson Drive SW in Washington, D.C. The closest Metro station is the Smithsonian Mall exit.

This Raytheon Tweetup is an opportunity to be among the first to experience the many interactive galleries, including adventure sports, style and design, entertainment, video games, robotics and space before the exhibit opens to the general public. Participants will also be able to meet special guests as well as the people behind the @raytheon and @mathmovesu accounts. The event will be hosted by @schierholz.

We encourage participants to live tweet the experience. If you can’t travel to Washington, D.C. for the Tweetup, you can still follow the event on both @raytheon and @mathmovesu via the hashtag #mathalivetweetup.

Registration for this event is now closed. Raytheon will select 100 total participants by lottery from those who registered online.
