The new issue of Raytheon's Technology Today magazine focuses on the company’s innovative approaches to satisfying the energy needs of its systems and customers by leveraging and adapting advanced energy technologies.

The Energy issue of the magazine, published by Raytheon’s Engineering, Technology and Mission Assurance organization, covers a broad range of alternative energy sources such as biofuels, solar energy, fuel cells and advanced batteries for power management solutions. Power cells and storage technologies ranging from a few milliwatts to many megawatts are investigated. The new issue discusses what it means to efficiently manage and conserve energy in domains spanning air, land, sea, space and cyberspace.

Highlighted leaders include Raytheon Vice President and Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems President Dr. Thomas A. Kennedy, who discusses his vision for IDS and how he plans to meet the challenges that lie ahead; and Raytheon Vice President of Corporate Operations Luis Izquierdo, who discusses his role and the importance of making an impact on energy efficiency by reducing Raytheon’s load demand.
