Overview
This year’s Space and Missile Defense Conference draws attendees from across the warfighter community, government, industry and media. The annual conference, being held Aug. 15-18 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Ala., brings together a diverse audience to discuss and learn about the latest issues and technologies pertaining to integrated air and missile defense. This year’s theme is “Providing Capabilities to the Warfighter.”
Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems and Missile Systems will lead the company effort at the show, highlighting a number of integrated air and missile defense solutions. On display at the show are missile defense programs, including the AN/TPY-2 radar and the Standard Missile – 3 (SM-3), the cornerstone of the Missile Defense Agency’s Phased Adaptive Approach. Raytheon will also highlight its integrated air defense solutions, including Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor (JLENS), Surface Launched Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (SLAMRAAM), and the combat-proven Patriot Air and Missile Defense System. Additional technologies on display include: SM-6, EKV, NCADE, THAAD, Blue Sparrow, RAID and Stunner.
Raytheon will also highlight its new missile production facility, currently being built at Redstone Arsenal.
