Raytheon will again have a prominent presence at the ninth annual U.S. Missile Defense Conference and Exhibit (March 21-24) at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington D.C. Raytheon capabilities continue to be integrated across the entire Ballistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS), providing unparalleled support to the warfighter.
During the conference, Raytheon will showcase its depth and breadth of expertise in developing, deploying and sustaining an integrated missile defense system through a series of technical presentations and panel discussions.
Systems being promoted in the Raytheon exhibit include:
- Standard Missile-3.
- Patriot.
- AN/TPY-2 Radar.
- Sea-Based X-Band Radar.
- Upgraded Early Warning Radars.
- Network-Centric Airborne Defense Element.
- Space Tracking and Surveillance System.
Raytheon held a pre-conference media briefing March 16 to discuss the numerous areas where it supports the BMDS and the role Raytheon continues to play in the implementation of the phased adaptive approach for missile defense in Europe.
The conference provides delegates access to the current state of the worldwide ballistic missile defense systems, including a review of national policies, service priorities, technical advances and related issues that may support or affect the deployment of the BMDS.
