"The Next Space Age" is the theme for this year's National Space Symposium (NSS) held on March 30-April 2 in Colorado Springs, Colo. More than 7,500 representatives from the space industry are expected to attend this 25th anniversary event.
Each year, Raytheon plays a key role as a sponsor of the symposium. This year, Raytheon’s Intelligence and Information Services President Lynn Dugle will host the Raytheon-sponsored James E. Hill Lifetime Achievement Award luncheon. Also at the event, Jon Jones, vice president of Space and Airborne Systems, will participate on an executive panel entitled "Today's Top Space Companies Look at the Next Space Age," with fellow space industry leaders.
Raytheon has more than 35 years of experience in precision satellite ground command and control systems and more than 40 years of successful delivery of space-qualified sensors for military, civil and intelligence customers.
At this year’s symposium, Raytheon will highlight its innovative space solutions at booth #503. Featured capabilities will include:
- Weather and climate monitoring
- Space navigation
- Integrated ground control
- Space protection
- Advanced missile warning and missile defense
