Raytheon’s sea power capabilities highlighted during Sea-Air-Space 2009
The Navy League’s 2009 Sea-Air-Space Exposition runs from May 4-6, at its new location just outside of Washington, D.C. This year’s theme is “National Security – Maritime Superiority – Global Presence.”
During the event, Raytheon will showcase a number of technologies including the world’s most widely-used ship self-defense system; an all-weather, all-mission system that allows pilots to land safely on aircraft carriers in bad weather or hostile environments; lightweight radar that offers unsurpassed small target detection; and the first naval radar system capable of simultaneously operating over two frequency ranges, coordinated by a single resource manager.
The company’s commitment to open architecture, global capabilities integration and layered defense of naval forces from sea surface to space will be displayed in the main hall at booth #1434.
