The International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX), one of the world’s largest exhibitions showing equipment, systems and services for land, sea and air defense offers a unique opportunity for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) to strengthen long standing partnerships and cultivate new relationships in the Middle East and Southwest Asia.

IDS offers a broad range of defense and security solutions – many of which are well known and deployed and others that are newer and drawing interest to meet existing and new security challenges.

IDS is the world’s leader in air and missile defense offering Patriot, Hawk XXI and SL-AMRAAM, systems that work together to provide an integrated solution.

On land, IDS offers the Athena Multi-Domain Situational Awareness System and the RAID (Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment). Athena provides real-time situational and domain awareness as a port and border security solution. Using an aerostat or a mast as a platform for sensor suites, RAID provides persistent surveillance for military and civil security applications beyond what eyes can see.

In the naval area, Raytheon IDS provides the combat management system (SSDS MK2) for current and future ships. The system is being built into the U.S. Navy’s latest LPD 17 class, the newest aircraft carrier CVN 78, the Zumwalt DDG 1000. Also, IDS is the only U.S. supplier of torpedoes, including the lightweight MK 54 and the heavyweight MK 48.

Already a trusted partner in the Middle East, these and other IDS systems offer friendly nations options to protect their people, territories and critical assets.
