Raytheon to Highlight Ground to Cyberspace Capabilities at DoDIIS 2009
Raytheon will showcase its powerful information sharing and cybersecurity innovations as a Silver Sponsor at the 2009 Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) Worldwide Conference May 17-21 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Fla.
With a theme of “Empowering Decision Advantage,” DoDIIS 2009 will gather key decision-makers from the DoD and Intelligence Community along with key information technology industry players such as Raytheon who support our nation’s intelligence programs. Raytheon will be located in booth #825 at DoDIIS.
Raytheon capabilities:
- Secure Information Analysis – The Direct-access User Knowledge Environment DUKE is a system that provides analysts with integrated analytical, geospatial and knowledge management tools.
- Net-Centric Information Sharing – The Distributed Common Ground System DCGS Integration Backbone (DIB) is a global, Internet-like network in which both military and national agencies have access to time-sensitive intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance data.
- Secure Coalition Information Sharing – The MAJIIC Coalition Data Broker is a multinational effort that provides connectivity between U.S. and coalition forces to maximize surveillance and reconnaissance resources.

- Real-Time Network Traffic Intelligence – Raytheon has partnered with Narus to monitor Internet Protocol traffic and provide critical knowledge to help manage and protect sensitive government networks.
- Knowledge Management and Knowledge Discovery – Raytheon’s knowledge exploitation technologies provide our customers with innovative solutions to complex information overload, discovery and knowledge sharing problems. Knowledge Discovery graph algorithms and pattern recognition techniques uncover hidden relationships and trends.
- Information Fusion and Decision Support – These technologies automatically derive knowledge from large amounts of data in support of enhanced situation awareness, threat assessment and timely, effective decision-making.
Several teams from Raytheon SI Government Solutions will also participate in DoDIIS Worldwide’s first “Capture the Flag” challenge. Sponsored by the Defense Intelligence Agency Information Assurance Group and the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency. Capture the Flag is an opportunity to demonstrate knowledge of vulnerability exploitation and threats to a network.
