The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace and Defence Exposition is one of the Asia Pacific’s most important aviation, aerospace and defense events. This year's show runs from Tuesday, March 10, until Sunday, March 15.

Industry-only trade days are a major portion of the event, running from Tuesday to Friday. During these days, access is restricted to accredited industry, defense and government professionals.

The show, with attendance of more than 182,000, will deliver key players from the international aviation, aerospace and defense sectors, as well as senior industry, defense and government decision-makers. There will be over 450 aircraft on display, covering a broad range of both military and civilian, from combat, unmanned, heavy lift, rotary wing, maritime patrol and tactical transport to training and business aircraft.

Over 611 exhibitors are set to participate from 20 nations, along with 63 official delegations, 31 overseas military missions and 15 Air Force Chiefs from around the world. More than 650 media representatives from 26 countries are expected to attend the event.

This year's show will also incorporate 13 major international conferences, seminars and symposia. The hallmark international forum will be the Chief of Air Force Conference which will be staged by the Royal Australian Air Force Air Power Centre. The biennial Australian International Aerospace Congress will also be conducted in conjunction with the event and will attract leading aerospace engineers, scientists and researchers from around the world.

Other key forums taking place during the event are the International Defence Industry Cooperation Conference and the Unmanned Airborne Vehicles and Integrated Systems Symposium.
