YOUTH DAY 2008 AT FARNBOROUGH

Following the success of the first Farnborough International Youth Day held in 2006, Raytheon is once again supporting this event in 2008.

Raytheon believes that tomorrow's engineers and technologists need to be excited by and interested in math and science today. In coordination with Raytheon’s worldwide commitment to encouraging young people to study math and science, this year’s Youth Day provides an opportunity for students to discover how commitment to these subject areas can lead to an exciting career.

The main attraction of Youth Day 2008 is the Transatlantic Rocketry Challenge, a Raytheon-sponsored rocket fly-off competition between the winners of the Team America Rocketry Competition 2008 (TARC) and the winners of the UK Aerospace Youth Rocketry Challenge 2008 (UKayRoc).
