Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC opened a depot repair facility called the Warfighter Support Center in Louisville, Ky. to support the U.S. Army’s Warfighter Field Operations Customer Support (FOCUS) program.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Oct. 2 to celebrate the opening. Mike Edwards, RTSC vice president and the Warrior Training Alliance (WTA) program manager; Russ McBride, with the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation; and Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson all spoke at the event. The ceremony was followed by a tour, demonstrations of training equipment used to test repaired items and a lunch for WTA teammates and employees.
The 135,000-square-foot center will provide logistics, technical support and depot maintenance support to the program.
“The Warfighter Support Center will improve service to soldiers by improving turnaround times for repairable items,” Edwards said. “That means decreasing the wait times on equipment requiring repairs they need to complete valuable training.”
The Warfighter FOCUS program is a U.S. Army program under PEO STRI to consolidate operations and maintenance, systems integration and engineering support services for the Army’s live, virtual and constructive training systems.

These industry leaders in training bring proven, current and relevant experience across all training environments including live, virtual and constructive.
