The Raytheon-led Warrior Training Alliance (WTA) team has supported 1.5 million training exercises worldwide since the start of the Warfighter Field Operations Customer Support (FOCUS) program in May. The related exercises have included personnel in all of the U.S. branches of service and some coalition partners.
Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC) was awarded the Warfighter FOCUS contract last year and after a seven-month transition period began work May 1 to integrate the U.S. Army’s live, virtual and constructive training domains. In addition, the team has processed more than 1,500 task orders.
“This demonstrates our ability to immediately meet the needs of our customers,” said Mike Edwards, RTSC and WTA vice president and program manager.
Raytheon has also expanded its presence in Southern Arizona with the opening of an office to support the program at the U.S. Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachuca. The Warfighter Support Center, the WTA’s depot facility, has also opened in Louisville, Ky.
The Raytheon-led Warrior Training Alliance includes major teammates Computer Sciences Corporation, General Dynamics Information Technology, MPRI and more than 100 other companies. These industry leaders in training bring proven, current and relevant experience across all training environments, including live, virtual and constructive. With a combined legacy of successfully executing large-scale and complex programs, the WTA is organized to apply the right resources to accomplish each task and deliver the best value with lowest risk solutions.
