Training represents a significant growth market for Raytheon, with a major focus on international expansion – both in the government and commercial markets – for customers interested in integrated training solutions and transformation.

Raytheon is building on a 75-year history of training that began with pilot training for the U.S. military and postal service. The company has since become a world leader in developing and delivering full-spectrum training services and outsourcing for both government and commercial customers in 101 countries and 39 languages.
Raytheon provides the full spectrum of training capabilities from front-end training analysis, training system design and curriculum development, to training delivery, logistics and evaluation.
Working closely with customers such as the U.S. Army and Federal Aviation Administration, Raytheon develops partnerships to find the best solutions to address training challenges.
Customer Collaboration

Warfighter FOCUS Marks First Anniversary
“For the U.S. Army, we just celebrated the one-year anniversary for the Warfighter Field Operations Customer Support program, where we have integrated three legacy training domains under one program to streamline and improve training across many diverse domains,” Teel said. “For example, we support training on unmanned aerial systems as part of the program at the U.S. Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., and counter-improvised explosive devices as the Army Center of Excellence at Fort Irwin, Calif.
“Another important training program is the Air Traffic Control Optimum Training Solution with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration,” he said. “We are preparing the next generation of air traffic controllers to provide training and support as well as transformation to the U.S. air traffic control workforce.” Raytheon expects to train 5,000 controllers annually.
