The mission support solutions offered by Raytheon-led Team JCA are based on decades of hands-on expertise with the U.S. Army and other customers. They are provided through a network of more than 500 individuals and facilities located across the U.S. and around the world. Raytheon is teamed with EADS CASA North America to compete for the Joint Cargo Aircraft program for the U.S. Army and Air Force. Team JCA is differentiated from others by its systems approach to logistics, and the investment it has made in an integrated approach. As a result of its integrated approach, Team JCA is able to predict customer needs, sense potential problems, and proactively respond with solutions that ensure aircraft are available and operationally ready.
Services include around-the-clock technical and logistics support on site; component repairs and consumables in “power by the hour” solutions; depot overhaul; technical development and modification; special/spare parts acquisition and management; training; and deployment support. Team JCA’s mission support solution for the Joint Cargo Aircraft is the product of more than 60 years of Army aviation experience and Raytheon's unique position as a mission systems integrator that is focused on assuring the warfighter's mission success. Its ability to manage mission support tasks integrating the strengths of several organizations is well proven with its extensive support for complex Army systems.
Team JCA has been providing customized support throughout the world to FAA certified aircraft for more than 25 years. Through the resources of Raytheon, EADS CASA and M7 Aerospace, this organization currently provides support to nearly 700 transport aircraft with more than four million flight hours, including the 32,000 Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft that are operational today. During this period, more than 1,600 pilots and 5,500 maintenance technicians have been trained. The ability to provide high-level operational readiness is guaranteed by Team JCA’s global network, which includes the support infrastructure of Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC), Raytheon Aircraft Company, EADS CASA, EADS CASA North America and M7 Aerospace. Currently Team JCA has 56 U.S. domestic service centers and 43 international service centers — including 11 Raytheon-owned Raytheon Service Centers. Two more domestic service centers currently are being added to the network. M7 Aerospace currently performs work on the existing C-23 Sherpa fleet, doing an excellent job of keeping those aircraft operational.
Raytheon Company’s proven Raytheon Aircraft Parts Inventory and Distribution (RAPID) program will help ensure that Team JCA aircraft are available whenever and wherever commanders need them. Raytheon currently uses RAPID to manage more than 12 million parts for both Raytheon and aftermarket products. RAPID also supports 30,000 Raytheon Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft worldwide. With these capabilities, Team JCA is able to provide mission support wherever the U.S. deploys its Joint Cargo Aircraft, relying on a network that extends across the United States and to more than 50 countries. Its solution includes exceptional performance in all aspects of integrated logistics support, including organizational/depot maintenance operations and facilities, supply chain management, field engineering maintenance, technical publications and all aspects of training.
