Raytheon is a platinum sponsor of the twelfth annual Space and Missile Defense Conference at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Ala. The show runs Aug.17-20, 2009, and is expected to draw more than 6,000 attendees. Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems, Missile Systems and Space and Airborne Systems businesses will have representatives at the event to showcase the company's engineering innovation in missile defense and space technologies.

The theme for this year’s conference is Space and Missile Defense ... The Path Forward. Raytheon will display several innovative solutions for current and future space and missile defense challenges at the show including JLENS, SM-3, ARTEMIS and Patriot.
