Celebrating Pi Day 2012 Across the Country

Pi, the mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14, is celebrated March 14 because of the date’s numerical significance. In an effort to spread the word and raise national awareness for Pi Day, Raytheon will celebrate it by showing appreciation for STEM teachers across the country, and encourage students everywhere to show their own appreciation.
Raytheon Extends STEM Teacher Appreciation Events Today Across the Country and Online
Employees will deliver 490 pies in total to STEM teachers at public middle and high schools within a 3.14-mile radius of selected Raytheon business locations.
