The Sum of all Thrills™ ride experience opened exactly two years ago at INNOVENTIONS at Epcot® at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The ride is one of Raytheon’s MathMovesU® STEM initiatives, which inspires students to apply mathematical tools and concepts to create their own thrill experience.

The Shades of Green Breakfast
Raytheon hosted the annual Disney character breakfast for military families at the Shades of Green Armed Forces Recreation Center at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Last year, Raytheon made a contribution to expand The Family Technology Center at Shades of Green that was originally donated by the company in February 2009. Inspiring STEM Talent for the Future
Raytheon employee volunteers from across the company conducted hands-on science demonstrations at the thrill ride last week to commemorate the occasion. Hundreds of students and their families flowed into the Sum of all Thrills area each day to interact with employee engineers, take part in the various science activities and then experience the ride. From creating ‘ooze’ to ‘polishing pennies’ the Raytheon engineers led fun activities, which were designed to bring math and science alive.
