Maj. Gen. David Halverson, commanding general, U.S. Fires Center of Excellence at Fort Sill, Okla., speaks to Defender about the changing landscape of ground combat due to the advancements of precision artillery. The magazine also includes a conversation with Lt. Col. Brantley Bond, chief of the Exercise Division, 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern), that offers a rare glimpse into the life of a fighter pilot.
