Raytheon achieved a score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) 2012 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The HRC, the nation's largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) rights organization, uses the CEI as a means to rate U.S. companies on how they treat their GLBT employees, consumers and investors. Companies with a 100 percent rating are also named to the organization's Best Places to Work list.

In 2005, Raytheon was the first aerospace and defense company to receive a perfect score on the CEI. This recognition marks the seventh consecutive year the company has achieved a 100 percent rating.

"Raytheon's success depends in part on our ability to recognize, respect and leverage the individual and cultural differences of our workforce," said Raytheon Chief Diversity Officer Hayward Bell. "We are pleased that Raytheon's continued commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace is recognized by the Human Rights Campaign in our seventh consecutive 100 percent CEI rating."
