Raytheon was recently recognized by Bersin & Associates as a 2011 Learning Leader for its industry-leading talent development programs. This award recognizes companies that demonstrate effective approaches to employee development and learning resulting in organizational improvement.

Bersin & Associates is a research and consulting firm focused on talent management, enterprise learning and talent acquisition. The Bersin & Associates 2011 Learning Leaders Program has entered its fifth year in which the focus was seeking out and growing new talent to obtain the right mix of individuals. This year, 28 diverse organizations were recognized from a pool of hundreds of applicants.

Raytheon was accompanied by Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, MetLife, Nationwide Insurance and more. Raytheon was specifically recognized for its leadership development excellence. The Learning Leaders® 2011: Lessons from the Best report (page 115) describes Raytheon’s industry-leading talent development programs and how they align with the business strategy.
