Raytheon Company will have a major presence at Aero India 2009 in Bengaluru, India, Feb. 11-15. As a global technology leader, Raytheon is offering a variety of products and services to meet India's growing military and commercial needs. Those diverse product lines and capabilities highlight the company’s commitment to Mission Assurance, Mission Support and customer focus.

At the show, Raytheon will display its advanced technologies being considered for India’s Medium Multi Role Combat Aircraft competition. These technologies include AESA, ATFLIR, AIM-9 “Sidewinder”, High Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM), Maverick, Joint Stand Off Weapon and Paveway™ laser guided bombs. Other products featured include Raytheon’s Athena system, RAID, Patriot, Hawk XXI and SL-AMRAAM, as well as the company’s ISR capabilities.

“India is a very important market for Raytheon,” said Walter Doran, president for Raytheon Asia. “We’re pleased to participate in Aero India and showcase the ways in which we can provide solutions for India’s military requirements and enhance our strong business partnership.”

Raytheon has a history of supporting India in a variety of defense and civil applications. It’s participation in Aero India underscores the company’s desire to continue fostering a long term relationship with India.

Aero India began in 2006 and is organized by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The show will present the latest in the field of Military and Civil aircrafts, vital components for aircraft engines, avionics systems & sub systems, airfield radars and new age technologies used in the defense sector.
