From developing powerful technologies addressing our planet’s environmental challenges to leading programs for environmental sustainability — Raytheon takes pride in the role our company plays as a steward of the environment.

As a partner to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), we are bringing our environmental stewardship and priorities to the solutions we deliver for our customers.  EPA has selected Raytheon Information Solutions to provide information technology infrastructure support and solutions through the Information Technology Solutions-EPA II (ITS-EPA II) contract. To support EPA’s environmental mission, we will offer a broad range of IT services to enable secure information exchange, data analysis, scientific investigation and informed decision-making across government and the environmental community.

Raytheon’s Environmental Services Expand

The ITS-EPA II contract further expands Raytheon's existing environmental services, which include remote sensing, data management and geographic information systems at multiple EPA ecology research laboratories in Corvallis, Ore., and Narragensett, R.I.

“We look forward to extending our relationship with EPA, supporting its important environmental mission with our continuous improvements culture, and helping increase efficiencies,” said TW Scott, vice president of Raytheon Information Solutions. Raytheon shares EPA’s commitment to the environment, as evidenced by our 2009 Energy Star award, recognition by the EPA as a 2009 Climate Leader and InfoWorld’s 2009 Green 15 recognition.
