Electronic Design annually assesses the top companies in the electronics industry to measure overall economic conditions and identify the specific strategies that lead to success. Raytheon ranked second out of the top 50 companies from an original pool of 97 companies.
“There is strong, broad-based international demand for each of Raytheon’s businesses, innovative solutions, and technologies,” wrote Electronic Design. “Raytheon continues to pursue ‘out of the box’ projects.”
The article details some of the innovative developments and products from across the enterprise. Cybersecurity, GPS-OCX, Zumwalt, missile defense and reconnaissance were highlighted. Electronic ranked Boeing ranked 16th, and Lockheed Martin ranked 12th.
