The U.K.'s Royal Air Force has successfully completed the “demonstration of capability trials” of the Raytheon Paveway^TM IV weapon system. The trials showed the full range of operational capability for the RAF's next generation general purpose air-to-ground weapon system.

“Paveway IV is a very capable weapon system indeed," said Captain Howard Holdsworth, RN, the U.K.'s Ministry of Defence Freefall Integrated Project Team Leader. "The recent successes are the culmination of a tremendous team effort. Each and every stake holder in the Paveway IV community has played their part in getting to this point of maturity."
