As people worldwide learn about the impact of recent hurricanes and view images depicting the devastation of the Gulf Coast region, their first reaction is often, “How can I help?” This page includes links to various organizations and funds you can donate to in order to help victims of recent hurricanes and reconstruction efforts.
Where to Give
Raytheon Employee Disaster Relief Fund: The Raytheon Employee Disaster Relief Fund was established in 2001 to provide a means by which employees can immediately help address and ease the suffering of those affected by disaster. All employee donations made to this fund between Aug. 29 and Nov. 30, 2005, will be allocated to hurricane relief efforts and matched by Raytheon Company.
American Red Cross: The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization led by volunteers that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. The Red Cross is currently working to meet the needs of hundreds of thousands of hurricane survivors. All employee donations made to the American Red Cross via payroll deduction between Aug. 29 and Nov. 30, 2005, will be matched by Raytheon Company.
