On Sept. 13, 2007, the local General of the Army (GA) Omar N. Bradley Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) held their annual Leadership Awards banquet at the Centennial Club on Fort Bliss, Texas.

During the event, Raytheon received the Corporate Member of the Year award. This is the first time a major defense contractor has received the honor. The company was recognized for its volunteerism and overall support of the GA Omar N. Bradley Chapter of AUSA. Accepting the award were representatives of Raytheon’s IDS, NCS, RTSC and Corporate Business Development businesses.

More than 900 warfighters, business people, and local dignitaries attended the ceremony, which also served as a 50-year anniversary celebration for the chapter, one of the oldest in AUSA. Retired Gen. Gordon Sullivan, president of AUSA, was the guest speaker.
