For the American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting, Raytheon is partnering with NASA Short-term Prediction Research and Transition (SPoRT) Center to feature a net-enabled weather solution for emergency response teams. The new app overlays VIIRS data with weather forecasts, population data and other information to provide decision makers and end users with the critical data needed to support emergency response in weather emergencies.

Deployable on a tablet or smartphone, the app can bring data to anyone, anywhere, protecting lives and potentially reducing the impact of severe weather events. Stop by Raytheon's AMS booth, #607, to check out the app.

Raytheon's mobile technology brings weather enabled support to end users, empowering a Weather-Ready Nation.
