Raytheon's chief diversity officer is honored for his effective advocacy

Emanuel Brady (left), Raytheon’s vice president and chief diversity officer, was honored at this year’s Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Award Conference.

He got the award because he made a difference.

Emanuel Brady, Raytheon’s vice president and chief diversity officer, received the Santiago Rodriguez Diversity Award at this year’s Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Award Conference in Anaheim, California.

He was recognized for "making a difference in Raytheon’s approach to Hispanic advancement in education, job promotion, business development and the community."

“Emanuel has demonstrated on numerous occasions that a culture of diversity and inclusion equals outstanding business results,” said Tom Kennedy, chairman and CEO of Raytheon Company, at the event. “He grows leaders, promotes collaboration, values employees and works tirelessly to support lasting change throughout our global Raytheon community.”

Brady exemplifies Raytheon's deepest corporate values, helping to build a company-wide culture of trust and respect.

Brady is also the first winner of the Raytheon CEO Diversity Award for demonstrating leadership and excellence in diversity and iInclusion. He was also named Executive of the Year by the Raytheon Management Club for his contributions to diversity and mentoring.
