2012 National Space Symposium
Raytheon will be playing a prominent role at the 2012 National Space Symposium, held at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo., from April 16-19with Bill Swanson, Raytheon Company CEO serving as this year's industry keynote speaker. Leaders from across Raytheon Company will accompany Bill, gathering alongside members of the global space community, to address and dream about the future of space.
Sponsored by the Space Foundation, National Space Symposium attracts more than 9,000 attendees and 150 exhibitors encompassing the civil, commercial and national security sectors of the space industry. Throughout the week, Raytheon will showcase its sensing, imaging, navigation and cybersecurity technology capabilities and solutions.
Lynn Dugle, president of Raytheon Intelligence and Information System, will host the Raytheon-sponsored James E. Hill Lifetime Achievement Award luncheon on April 18, with a special debut of the new Raytheon video, "Space Is Our Compelling Horizon, 2012," featuring the Blue Marble earth image. She will also join fellow industry leaders to discuss the significance of earth observation. Steve Hawkins, vice president, IIS Information Security Solutions, will participate at the "Cyber Industry Round Table" during the symposium's Cyber 1.2 event on April 16.
At its booth (#203) in Broadmoor Hall, Raytheon will feature advanced capabilities in three key areas that support the space mission: Data Processing, Mission Management and Micro Applications.
The event is a collaboration between Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS), Space and Airborne Systems (SAS), Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC) and Integrated Defense Systems (IDS).
