Do you know an inspirational math teacher? If so, then you can make a difference. Math Heroes can be nominated by students, parents, other teachers — anyone who witnesses a Math Hero in action. The only requirement for nomination is that the Math Hero has a passion for teaching math and truly inspires and motivates students. A true Math Hero is dedicated to improving math education and encouraging participation in math-related programs.

MathMovesU awards Math Hero winners with a $2,500 individual grant as well as a $2,500 grant for their school or math-related non-profit program. Visit MathMovesU.com to submit an application by August 15, 2008 or download the application.
