Raytheon's Multiple Kill Vehicle (MKV) program is featured in the June 2 issue of Aviation Week and Space Technology magazine.
Raytheon is working with the Missile Defense Agency to develop MKV-R, which would enable the U.S. to track and destroy many incoming targets from a single interceptor.
MKV is the next generation of vehicles designed to stop more complex target sets in space. Raytheon already produces the Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle and the Standard Missile-3 Kill Vehicle for the Missile Defense Agency.
