Our Joint Automated Deep Operation Coordination System (JADOCS) experience and technology puts CSS in a strong position to capitalize on the significant opportunities within the military for C2 programs. Similarly, the capabilities that JADOCS provides have direct application to the Global War on Terror (GWOT) and Homeland Defense initiatives. JADOCS is already being used at the National Command Authority, across the military services, and in key civilian agencies for GWOT prosecution.
JADOCS capabilities include:
- Situational awareness, targeting and fires coordination tool
- Interfaces with intelligence and fire direction systems, providing the “glue” for decision-making
- Over 5000 JADOCS already installed and in use world-wide
- Active FMS cases with RoK, UK, Canada and NATO
- Designated as Program of Record under PM Battle Command with POM 10 funding
- 27 Field Support Engineers world-wide supporting 76 locations
The Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Support to Civil Authorities Automated Support System (DDASS) was built upon the current war-tested C2 defense application, JADOCS. DDASS, the civilian application, is currently being used to coordinate resources and activities for humanitarian relief and crisis support.
The DDASS system was derived from JADOCS to provide both government and civilian authorities an inexpensive and simplified solution to manage resources for disaster planning and recovery. The system provides a single operational picture allowing individuals at each response level access to the management of resources provided by all agencies. For example, DDASS allows a disaster recovery team access to available equipment, transportation, facilities, rescue/medical personnel and funding and how those resources are being managed. It also ensures that all requests are approved at appropriate levels and it allows this approval to occur in a parallel fashion saving critical time in request and response of national and Department of Defense capability to support federal agencies. From hurricanes to wild fires, potential terrorist attacks to earthquakes, DDASS strives to ensure that the agencies tasked in providing resources and services to effected areas are synchronized and ready.
Here is an example of how DDASS has been used in relief efforts:
