Raytheon’s EAGLE software provides a complete logistics solution for the lifespan of a project — from building and maintaining logistics data to providing reports, technical manuals, and other post-production support. When part of the EAGLE Logistics Toolset suite, the software is fully compliant with ASD S1000D and ASD 2000M specifications.
The EAGLE Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS™) is the proven tool for Performance Based Logistics (PBL). Presently in use on PBL contracts in the United States, Europe and Australia, it provides a real-world solution for managing repair activities.
The EAGLE product is an enhanced integrated logistics support software system. Its LSAR (Logistic Support Analysis Record) relational database — based on and fully compatible with MIL-STD-1388-2B, MIL-PRF-49506 and DEF STAN 00-60 — provides a complete logistics architecture. The EAGLE system goes beyond these specifications by adding tools to manage engineering drawings, technical manuals, video and other functions. Current 1388-2A, 1388-2B, 00-60 Issue 1, 00-60 Issue 3, 00-60 Issue 4, 00-60 Issue 5 and 00-60 Issue 6 databases can easily be migrated to the EAGLE system.
The EAGLE system speeds complex, time-consuming logistics tasks by enabling users to navigate the logistics database by discipline (Provisioning, Task Analysis, Support Equipment, etc.) and focus on specific functions within each discipline (provisioning an item, creating a task, assigning support equipment). It guides users through each function step by step, so that functional-area data can be swiftly entered and retrieved.
Raytheon's EAGLE software uses the Microsoft® Windows® operating system to provide a simple user interface. Users can access data with the click of a mouse, and data windows make entering data easy. Help screens are provided for each function, and for the database structure.
