The AE197 InSb Focal Plane Array is a versatile large-format FPA for FLIR and missile seeker applications.

The AE197 is a large format 640 x 512 focal plane array designed for high-resolution camera systems, FLIRs, and missile seekers. The device features snapshot-mode integration while reading out flexible, programmable regions of interest or "windows" in interlaced and non-interlaced formats. The size of these windows are user definable and can be dynamically altered on a per-frame basis through serial command interfaces. Similarly, the number of outputs can be selected from 4, 2, or 1 depending on application needs. The focal plane is configurable to emulate previous 512 x 512 and 640 x 480 focal planes. The MWIR InSb focal plane array provides excellent operability and uniformity over a wide-background range.
