The 320 UFE is a high-performance 320 x 240, 25 µm, ultralight uncooled camera engine.

Raytheon’s 320 x 240 uncooled technology is now available as a fully integrated universal front-end camera engine, utilizing common uncooled electronics. Designated the 320 UFE, the engine is designed to operate the 320 x 240, 25 µm VOx infrared image sensor. The basic architecture, compact size and low power consumption positions the 320 UFE as the ideal engine for 8 µm to 14 µm band IR applications. The hardware includes a sleek 2 x 2 x 2 inch dual-card module, optical mounting features, image sensor bias, non-uniformity correction and equalization, serial RS232 control interface, 14-bit parallel video data with synchronization, and RS170 output. Analog and digital electronics are integrated with the FPA, and factory calibrated to a wide environmental temperature range.
