Market Areas

Crisis Management
The goal is to provide an enterprise-wide capability for planning, consequence management, responding to, and exercising for incidents including natural disasters and terrorist events. It includes collection and sharing of situational awareness using NIMS standards. Our integrated solutions include logistics planning for, prepositioning of, and Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) for materials, equipment and personnel; multi-factor sensor network and associated persistent power, communications, correlation, fusion and monitoring; command and control; operational plan development, training, exercises, evacuation, reconstitution, and Blue Force Tracking. Crisis response includes rapid incident detection, assessment and response by only the right, properly equipped trained and empowered personnel to contain, manage, resolve and investigate while maintaining public safety and public awareness.

Urban Security
The goal is to provide increased deterrence and situational awareness, response, command and control, and intelligent surveillance in highly populated areas. It can be a force multiplier for law enforcement, crisis management, major event security, and critical infrastructure protection.

Homeland Defense
The goal is to provide military assistance to Civil Authorities, including protection of our territory, population, and critical infrastructure by: deterring/defending against foreign and domestic threats; supporting civil authorities for crisis and consequence management; and helping to ensure the continuance of critical national assets. It includes counter-narcoterrorism, preparations for biological warfare defense, border, coastal and maritime surveillance, managing the consequences of a domestic WMD event, WMD proliferation prevention as a function of border security, and protecting DOD's electronic infrastructure.

WMD Security
The goal is preparation for, detection of, response to, and recovery from release of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). Our integrated solutions include logistics planning for, prepositioning of, and Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) for materials, equipment and personnel; multi-factor sensor network and associated persistent power, communications, correlation, fusion and monitoring; command and control; operational plan development, training, exercises, and Blue Force Tracking. WMD response includes how to assure the right, and only the right, people can get to an event properly equipped, contain it, manage it, resolve it, and investigate it, anywhere in the country.

Energy Security
The goal is to provide security for petrochemical & LNG pipelines, refineries, trans-shipment facilities, power plants and nuclear power plants. It includes preventing a disruption in the delivery of critical services/products and preventing the facilities and their hazardous/lethal products and processes from being used to cause death and injury to surrounding populations.

Intelligence
The goal is the collection, evaluation, analysis, and controlled dissemination of all available information gathered from open sources, law enforcement sources, security personnel, sensors, and/or classified sources, including information derived by both technical and nontechnical means, in support of law enforcement and security mission goals, priorities and objectives. It includes providing actionable intelligence and information sharing across security levels for federal, state, and local law enforcement.

Special Events Security
For national level special events (Olympics, World Cup Soccer, Presidential Nominating Conventions), the goal is to provide security (prepare, deter, detect, delay, assess, respond) to critical, temporary venues, housing, IT systems, transportation methods and routes, based on risk and vulnerability assessments. It includes command and control, multi-agency communications, surveillance, and advance coordination exercises. Our emphasis on the reuse of investments is critical.
