What is NETCENTS? NETCENTS stands for Network Centric Solutions and is an Air Force IDIQ contract to provide Network-Centric Information technology, Networking, Telephony and Security, Voice, Video and Data Communications Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) products, system solutions, engineering services systems hardware and software, warranty, systems management, operations and maintenance support, configuration management, training, centralized logistics and inventory management support, depot level support, spares and/or supplies to satisfy the requirements for interoperability, compatibility and resource sharing of both Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor
Furnished Equipment, supporting the Global Information Grid (GIG) architecture. The Network-Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract is designed as a flexible end-user solution to embrace diverse current and future network-centric information technology requirements, ensure interoperability through standards-based technology (using both GFE and CFE) and implement the constant evolution of state-of-the-art technology and systems solutions.

Raytheon was selected as a member of two different business teams working on the U.S. Air Force's $9 billion Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) program. NCI Information Systems Inc.(NCI) of Reston, Virginia chose Raytheon as a member of their NETCENTS "small business" team, and General Dynamics (GD) of Needham Heights, Massachusetts chose Raytheon as a member of their "large business" team.

Raytheon has subcontract agreements in place under NCI Contract #FA8771-04-D-0007 and General Dynamics Contract #FA8771-04-D-0005; The period of performance of both contracts is 10 Sept 2004-9 Sept 2009.
