Analysis

Scientists and engineers of Raytheon UTD’s Analysis Division support the intelligence and warfighting communities with the characterization of adversarial hard and deeply buried targets.  One of the greatest challenges on today’s battlefield is to determine where the enemy is hiding and to hold him at risk.  Our adversaries have sought protection by moving their operations and equipment into underground structures and facilities.  Analysis Division experts provide imagery and all-source analysis, geotechnical site-specific and country template analyses, reverse engineering, and three-dimensional modeling to meet this challenge.

In coordination with site characterizations, the Analysis Division also supports national coordination and testing of development efforts for sensor technology programs involved in finding, characterizing, and assessing underground facilities.  Research on the newest technologies is an ongoing process, and as it develops, the Analysis Division integrates technological improvements to derive the most accurate information and provide more detailed analyses to the customer.

The Analysis Division has and continues to provide support to the following customers:

  • Defense Threat Reduction Agency
  • Defense Intelligence Agency
