Snake Helps Warfighters and Civil Authorities Stay Safe
Snake is lightweight and compact, and can be configured for a wide variety of reconnaissance, search and rescue, local and persistent surveillance applications.
It brings sensors into places no other robots could previously go, and provides unsurpassed robotics capability to warfighters and civil authorities. Potent mobility enables Snake to weave its way through rubble, cross gaps, explore culverts, caves and pipes. Snake also confidently climbs stairs and poles.
Snake’s innovative design allows for unprecedented mobility and allows warfighters or civil authorities to stay at a safe distance while it explores potentially hazardous sites. The robot can be stealthily maneuvered from a safe distance to detect threats, such as bomb-making materials or emplaced improvised explosive devices.
