1900 Heritage
The 1900 has a distinguished heritage, and is the result of more than 50 years of Beech design history. Beech established itself directly into scheduled passenger and cargo operations through development of the Beech 99 airliner in the 1960's. The 1900 provided significant growth and expansion into the 19 passenger market as well as in the 5,500 lb cargo market.
1900's are characterized by:
- Outstanding performance, especially in hot environments and/or when short runways are a consideration
- High reliability and low maintenance requirements
- Passenger amenities including stand-up cabin (1900D), cabin pressurization and exceptional baggage capacity
1900 Variants
There are five primary variants of the 1900, with many options available for each application.
