Real-world public safety research
Every life-altering innovation, from light bulbs to automobiles, required research. Lots of it.
Now the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Raytheon and other partners have teamed up to give public safety the research and development needed to transform the way first responders operate and communicate.
Bringing together academia, industry and public safety agencies, the UCLA Center for Public Safety Network Systems helps guide the continuing evolution of cutting-edge technologies in public safety communications.
Located at one of the world’s most prestigious research universities and one that’s been a long-standing leader in radio communications technology, the Center will be managed by the UCLA Institute for Technology Advancement (ITA) of the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science. Any public or private organization that meets the membership requirements is welcome to join the UCLA Center for Public Safety Network Systems.
