The Netherlands officially placed their AutoTrac automation system into operational service in 1998 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

This system provides approach control and enroute services for the Netherlands Flight Information Region and flight data services for the Rotterdam Tower.
One of the unique features of this system is the system-wide distribution of radar and flight plan data to all subsystems. It uses table-driven software using Rules to control the behavior of data presentation and flight progress management.

The AAA system is interfaced to 4 local radars and 2 track servers and is linked to the tower via a local area network.

It has 26 color-raster displays for ACC, 7 monochrome displays for APP, and a separate air traffic simulator and test system.
